Primum Non Nocere

Chapter 6

“hey”

“Who is this?”

“the doctor has you listed as his emergency contact”

Isaac nearly dropped his phone.

“What happened?! Do I need to call an ambulance?!”

“he’s alright, just a little out of it. don’t think he’ll be able to get himself home tho”

“Where are you?”

The other person sent along an address.

“btw we’ve met before if you catch my drift ]:)”

“Oh, you”

“yeah just didn’t want to freak you out too much when you got here”

When Isaac arrived at the address the demon had given him, he walked in to find the man in question crouched on the floor next to a clearly delirious Kurt. Isaac barely recognized him, his body stretched beyond his natural height and face split nearly in two in a rictus grin. He’d known Kurt had a secondary form, but this was the first time he’d ever seen it.

“What’s wrong with him?” As Isaac crouched down next to him he noticed that the demon seemed to be trying to take his pulse.

“He’s still high out of his mind from the reaction he just came out of, but he should calm down in an hour or so.”

“Reaction?” Isaac took a look at his eyes. His pupils were blown wide enough that he could only see a tiny ring of blue around them.

“Rubedo, the final stage of the Magnum Opus. I’m surprised he got through the whole thing so quickly, especially since he would’ve been in the first stage when I met him.”

“What?”

“To simplify, decay, purification, awakening, and finally synthesis. He’s just finished up the synthesis stage. Here,” the demon took his hand and placed it over Kurt’s heart. It was beating rapidly, but steadily, in his chest.

“Oh my god, he’s alive?!”

“Yup.”

“Yay!” Kurt cheered weakly, still clearly out of it.

“Is he going to fit in your car?” The demon asked.

“He should. Can you help me lift him?”

“I can get up.” Kurt insisted, trying to get his arms under himself.

“No, you can’t. You already tried that, remember?”

The demon reached behind his head, tapping a tattoo at the back of his neck. His hair darkened and his extra sets of arms disappeared and tossed on a baseball cap and glasses to disguise his face further.

Kurt had managed to get his arms under him but they slipped out from beneath him as he tried to push himself up. Isaac caught him before his head hit the floor. The other doctor’s eyes widened as he looked at him.

“Wow, you’re really pretty.” He touched the side of his face with clear reverence. Isaac blushed despite himself.

“Did completing the Magnum Opus involve getting his wisdom teeth out or something?”

The demon snickered as he grabbed one of Kurt’s arms.

“People tend to experience disorientation and euphoria in the aftermath. He should be alright, I just wouldn’t trust him on the train home.”

“How’d you know I had a car?” Isaac furrowed his brow, realizing for the first time that the demon shouldn’t have known that.

“He had your address in your contact. You live out on the Island right? There was no way you wouldn’t have one.”

“Fair enough.” Isaac threw Kurt’s other arm over his shoulder. “Just be careful where you put him I’ve got a lot of stuff in the back.”

His clothes were too small for him in this form, so the vampire hunter and the demon wrapped him in a blanket before helping him out and laying him in the back seat of Isaac’s car. The doctor took care to clear off all the stakes and bottles of holy water and toss them in the trunk of his hatch back while the demon took care of checking out. Still, when the Demon sat down in the passenger seat he jumped up in shock. Isaac quickly grabbed the rosary off the seat and tossed it in the glove compartment.

“Guess we’re taking him back to his place then?”

“That’s probably safer,” Isaac agreed. He had a lot of dangerous crap lying around his place that it would probably be best to keep Kurt away from while he was like this.

“My mouth feels weird.” The man in question supplied helpfully.

“That’s because you never shifted back.” Aestuo moved his seat back

“I didn’t?” Kurt managed to sit up. “Am I scaring you?” He stuck his head between the front seat and the passenger seat trying to get a look at Isaac’s face.

“I’m not scared of you, Kurt.”

“Oh, okay.” He tried to move back into the back seat, but hit his head on the roof of the car. “Ow.”

“Don’t hurt yourself.” The demon pushed his head down slightly so that Kurt could pull himself back.

“Is he stuck like that?” Isaac asked. The demon folded his arms. “What?”

“That depends on what he wanted. What he did was a process of self perfection. The creation of the self rebuilt from the decayed corpse of the former. If that’s what he looks like now, that’s what he wanted to be. He might still be able to change shape, but you might want to get used to the idea that he’s ‘stuck like that’.”

They both sat in awkward silence as Kurt stared out the window, entranced by the passing streetlights.

“I didn’t mean it like that.” Isaac tightened his grip on the steering wheel.

“Just trying to make sure you get it.”

“Yeah? And where do you get off making sure I get it? I’m fucking worried about him, alright! Don’t lecture me like you think you know him better than I do.”

“He hired me to be his trip sitter. I don’t know, I feel like if I’m going to leave him with a vampire hunter while he’s like this, I ought to make sure he’ll be safe.”

“I know what he is.”

“Do you?”

“I do.” Isaac stopped the car and looked the demon dead in the eyes. Red light from the traffic signal bathed the inside of the car in the darkness. “And I don’t care.”

“Is that a ‘because’ an ‘and’ or a ‘despite’?”

“An and. I like him *and* he’s not human.”

“Good answer.” The demon slouched down in his seat, pulling the brim of his hat over his eyes.

“What’s he paying you?” Isaac asked, the accusation implied.

“Just a vial of blood.”

“That’s it?”

“That’s it.”

“Why?”

“You’ll see.”

When Kurt woke up again he was in his own bed, though he couldn’t clearly remember how he’d gotten there. He had a blurry recollection of being in a car at some point but not much past that. His claws were still out. Come to mention it, he wasn’t in human form at all was he? He huffed in frustration. Hopefully whoever had brought him back here had kept him covered, he didn’t want to have to deal with any questions from the neighbors.

Slipping back into human form was as easy as putting on socks. If anything the transition felt smoother than usual, no more concerning snaps as his joints popped back together. He stretched, his shoulders popping as he cleared away the stiffness that had settled into them. Yup, he had definitely been in a car then. His more monstrous self was too tall to fit comfortably in the back seat.

From a purely aesthetic standpoint he quite liked how it looked, but little things like that would’ve made it inconvenient to inhabit that form full time. He sometimes hit his head on low doorways as it was. Not to mention the hair. He kept it short for work, at that length it would be a pain in the ass to deal with on a regular basis. But hell if he didn’t enjoy inhabiting that form when he could. It was exhilarating to look exactly like he felt, like a beast, like something that could be fearless because it never had reason to be afraid. He felt, at long last, like a predator.

Whoever had brought him home hadn’t dressed him, but they *had* left some clean clothes out for him. Just jeans and an old t-shirt, nothing he could infer anything from. Aestuo was likely the one who had brought him here, but then where had he gotten the car? Clang had wanted a car, maybe Aestuo had gotten one in a deal at some point? But then how had he gotten it here? Signs pointed to the involvement of a third party somewhere down the line. He could still smell sulfur in the air, it would probably just be simpler to just ask Aestuo instead of speculating.

He got his answer fairly quickly after leaving his room. Aestuo and Isaac had positioned themselves at opposite ends of his small apartment staring at each other ruefully.

“Am I interrupting something?” He asked, uncomfortable with the tension that moved like a bolt of lightning between them.

“Oh, thank fuck.” The demon breathed a sigh of relief.

Isaac tucked the rosary he’d been playing with into his pocket.

“Hey, could you throw that over here for a second?” Isaac looked at Kurt strangely at the request. “Trust me.” The vampire hunter pulled it from his pocket. Looked at Kurt again as if to say “Your funeral” and threw it to him.

“Christ!” Aestuo cursed, jumping as it flew past him.

The man, who had once been a vampire, caught it. The rose petal beads did not burn his hands. Curious, Kurt bit down on his tongue, hard enough to draw blood. The taste of it was still rich and smooth, the way it would taste to a vampire, not a living creature. He was a living creature now though. The sound of his heartbeat was almost deafeningly loud after its months of silence. Its rhythm was just as slow and steady as it had always been before it had stopped. He was alive and yet he still felt just as unnaturally, as gleefully, powerful as he had when he was dead. He rolled the strands of the rosary between his fingers, soft red beads now just beads in his hand, and he laughed. It wasn’t a breathless half relieved laugh like the one that had escaped the day he discovered he could shape shift. No, this was triumphant, one that started quietly but grew louder as he realized the blessed chain was silver. He had transcended the limits of both living and dead flesh, there was nothing that could touch him anymore unless he wanted it to.

“I can’t thank you enough, both of you.”

“I wasn’t just going to shove you in a cab and send you home, no need to thank me.” Aestuo replied.

“You know that isn’t what I meant.” Kurt shot him a wry smile and tossed the rosary back to Isaac.

“Just wanted to give you an out before you started monologuing in front of the vampire hunter.”

“I don’t know what you’re talking about, I’m completely harmless.” The vampire hunter tucked the beads back into his pocket.

“You mind paying me before you get yourself killed?” Aestuo held out a vial.

“Oh of course.” It was maybe a little unsettling how used to taking out a knife and slashing himself open Kurt had become, but yet without hesitation he grabbed a knife from the kitchen and slit his palm open. He kept his focus on making sure none of it dripped onto the floor, sharply enough that he barely registered when Isaac stood up in shock.

“What the hell?!”

“Oh sorry, I should’ve warned you.” The former vampire apologized.

“The blade!” Isaac pointed to the edge.

Kurt hadn’t noticed at all, he tended to get tunnel vision when focused on a task, but the edge of the knife, the places where it had bitten into him and his blood had dripped down its length, had turned to gold. He studied the knife in his hand for a moment before lifting his gaze to the demon, one eyebrow raised.

“A spell component.”

“I’m a liar by nature,” he shrugged. “If you don’t do your due diligence, that's on you.”

“I thought you were being cryptic! You mean he actually did it?!” Isaac asked.

“By accident.” The demon clarified.

“By accident?!”

“You knew this was going to happen and you let me ruin my knife,” Kurt interrupted indignantly. It wasn’t one he used for cooking obviously, but he was still annoyed that Aestuo had let him destroy it.

“Look, just soak it in blood and use the gold to buy a new one.”

“It’s the principle.” Kurt pouted

“What do you mean by accident?!”

“Is this another one of those things I shouldn’t be good enough at magic to do?”

“Yes.” Both the demon and the vampire hunter replied, Aestuo with amusement and Isaac with confused shock.

“Kurt, that would be like you telling me you’d built a rocket and went to the moon and then you showed me a real moon rock and a picture of the rocket, and it was just you with 50 fireworks strapped to your back!” Isaac shouted.

“Dude, I don’t know who was trying to teach you magic, but clearly they were shit at explaining it because you’re *scary* good at it.” The demon added

“It was my mother and grandmother. I think they did their best, I just had trouble with their style of magic.”

“What kind?” Aestuo asked.

“Both were ecstatic mages.”

“So you thought you were bad at magic, because you couldn’t take a supernatural entity into your body and bind it to your will instead of letting it possess you?” The demon knit his eyebrows together.

“I’m guessing by the way you phrased that, that’s normally very hard to do.”

“Normally it’s almost impossible to do.” Aestuo answered.

“Oh. But my grandmother would do that to make it rain anytime her garden started getting dry.”

“That’s terrifying.” Isaac pinched the bridge of his nose.

“The one time I tried to channel, I got possessed by something and it told my family I would never amount to anything but a leech. After that my dad wouldn’t let me try it again.” He paused for a moment, the now comfortable length of fangs in his mouth. “Oh. Hm.”

“Hey, at least it wasn’t metaphorical.” Aestuo shrugged.

“Most people wouldn’t be very happy with literal either,” Isaac grimaced.

“Good thing I’m not most people.” Kurt handed the vial of his blood to Aestuo. “So what are you actually planning to use this for?”

“It’s bait,” the demon grinned. “You wouldn’t believe how badly I could ruin somebody’s life by offering them this.”

“You won’t tell anyone where you got it right?” Isaac regarded the vial warily.

“Of course not. That would wreck my leverage.” The demon waved before disappearing into the floor.

“That’s reassuring.” Isaac kicked at the carpet in frustration.

“He might not seem like it, but he’s trustworthy. If he says he won’t tell, he won’t tell.”

Isaac froze for a moment, the frustration leaving in favor of something else, something Kurt was having difficulty identifying.

“Why did you show him what you really look like and not me?”

Kurt put down the gold edged knife in his hand.

“This *is* what I really look like.” He saw that Isaac was about to object and cut him off. “No one part of a person is the real them right? The you that’s a doctor isn’t the fake version of the vampire hunter. For me it’s more literal, but the man is no more real than the monster.”

Isaac let out a short, exasperated, breath from his nose.

“Okay, let me clarify, the part of this I am upset about is that he got to see that part of you before I did.”

“That wasn’t how I wanted to do things either. I only accounted for actions that would cause me harm in my bindings. Technically forcing me into that form didn’t do me any harm. I think Aestuo might have overlooked it on purpose actually. He lectured me about not getting complacent ahead of the summoning.”

“Doesn’t sound like the most ‘trustworthy’ guy then.” Isaac huffed.

“Well he might stab you in the back like any other demon but he never hides it. He tells you exactly what he’s going to do and gives you time to back out if you’re smart enough.”

“Sounds like you’re just a smart mark.”

“A smart mark?”

“A mark who knows a con is going on and still tries to outsmart the con man.”

“Maybe. Though tonight was the last night I planned to be in the game. I don’t need anymore than I already have.” He took Isaac’s hand running his thumb over the rough skin of his knuckles.

“Would you ever have shown me if you hadn’t been forced to?”

“I’ve shown you glimpses of it haven’t I? You’ve seen the parts of me I can’t show other humans.” The doctor kissed the back of the vampire hunter’s hand.

“But would you have ever let me see all of it?”

Ice met brown so warm it was almost red.

“I don’t know. Would you even have wanted to see it? It's one thing to conceptualize, but it’s another to know.”

“You’ve been around demons too long, you're talking in riddles.” Isaac pulled his hand away. Kurt watched as it retreated from him.

“Will you be able to sleep when you know what’s lying next to you, Isaac?”

“Show me again.”

“Isaac-“

“Show me, when I saw you, all I could focus on was getting you home safely. At least give me a chance to come to terms with what you are and decide I still want you.”

“You seem like you already have a decision in mind.”

“I’m stubborn.” Isaac put a hand on Kurt’s cheek. The former vampire put his own hand over his, pressing him closer.

“I’m afraid.” Kurt admitted.

“What do you have to be afraid of?”

“I don’t like being vulnerable.”

“Does anyone?”

Kurt closed his eyes. He didn’t want to see Isaac’s first reaction. Then, he began to switch over. It was once again much easier than he was accustomed to, his bones and muscles slipping into place without their usual tautness and his jaw sliding into place easily as it reconfigured itself into something more suitable for his impressive fangs. When it was over, he heard Isaac gasp. He assumed it was just in surprise, but he still kept his eyes closed. He didn’t want to know if he was wrong. Fingers touched the pointed tip of his left ear and then worked their way into his long curly hair.

“Long hair looks good on you, would you ever consider growing it out in your other form?”

“Probably not. It would be impractical. Like basically everything about this version of myself.”

“So this is what you’d want to be if you didn’t have to consider practicality.”

“No, I like the other version of myself just as much. I’d be sad to lose it.”

The fingers slipped from his hair and Kurt felt a thumb on his chin.

“Do you still need these, or are they just for show?”

“My fangs? I’d have to do some testing with human food but I still like the taste of blood.”

“You might just have a taste for it now.”

“Maybe.”

“Do you feel like opening your eyes yet?”

Kurt took a deep breath, his lungs still getting used to needing air again, and he opened his eyes. Isaac’s hand slipped from his face.

“Jesus.”

“What’s wrong?” Kurt backed away slightly.

“Have your eyes always been that blue?” Isaac reached out and ran his thumb along his cheek, right beneath Kurt’s eyelids.

“Yes, it’s just more visible like this.” Kurt averted his gaze.

“Still nervous?”

“I don't like sustained eye contact.”

“Oh sorry should I-“

“But I’m also still nervous,” Kurt interrupted. “…I don’t want to be alone, Isaac.”

“I’m not going to leave you alone while you’re recovering.”

“I mean I don’t want to lose you. I- I don’t have many other people I’m close to.”

“You aren’t a vampire anymore are you?”

“I don’t think so.”

“Well that solves the one major problem I had, being with you is no longer a conflict of interest.”

“I’m still not human.”

Now it was Isaac’s turn to avoid eye contact.

“That isn’t really a problem for me.”

Kurt’s eyes drifted downwards.

“Looks like it might be more than just not a problem.”

He cupped the vampire hunter’s bulge in his clawed hand.

“Doesn’t take much to flip your switch, does it?” Isaac laughed.

“You’re the one that got hard just from touching me.” Kurt teased back. “What do you want me to do to you?”

“Why don’t you improvise?” Isaac slid his hands around Kurt’s waist, exposed under the edge of his suddenly much too small t-shirt.

“Hm.” Normally he wasn’t very good at that but having limited options helped narrow things down. Fingers and mouth were completely off the table, unless Isaac liked things way rougher than he thought, but he did have a few ideas. “What’s the safe word?”

“Aloe.”

Without warning, Kurt shoved him onto the counter.

“If you want to keep these clothes, take them off. They’re in the way.”

The vampire hunter made no move to remove anything. Kurt took that as permission. Even before he’d turned, he could’ve torn his shirt off, but Kurt felt a distinct sense of satisfaction that his claws could shred denim as well. Once Isaac was down to his boxers, the thing that was once a vampire let his fangs drag across the skin of his stomach before taking the waist band in his teeth. He took his time pulling them down, letting his fangs gently scrape Isaac’s skin. Not enough to draw blood, just enough to remind him that he could if he wanted. If the grip Isaac had on his hair was any indication he certainly seemed to appreciate the reminder. Once he tugged off the vampire hunter’s boxers however, he pulled away completely. Isaac groaned, propping himself up on his elbows to see what Kurt was trying to pull.

“Touch yourself for me.”

Isaac began to wrap his hand around his cock.

“Not there.” Kurt took his hand and moved it further down to the vampire hunter’s hole. “Here. It’s not like I can do it myself.” He ran a clawed finger beneath the vampire hunter’s chin and he shivered. “Unless you want me to.”

Isaac tried to lift his knees to give himself better access and nearly slipped off the counter. Kurt grabbed his legs and slung them over his shoulders. He leaned over the vampire hunter and held down his non-dominant hand.

“Is this better?”

“Could you get me some lube or something?” The former vampire took the vampire hunter’s free hand and guided it to his teeth. Then he parted the line of needles and wrapped his tongue around Isaac’s fingers. He made sure to be careful, avoiding nicking the hunter with the points of his fangs as he licked between his fingers. Isaac’s breathing grew ragged as Kurt tongued the webs of his fingers and then he released his hand.

“Well, go on.”

Isaac tested the spit on his fingers. It was thicker than human saliva, but it wouldn’t make things easy. Still, he brought his hand down to his hole as Kurt loomed hungrily over him. He was angry that the looming was making him horny. Sure he might have had a thing for being overpowered and maybe, *maybe* he had jacked off to The Predator *once* when he was black out horny, but he’d been completely blind sided by just how hot it was to be pinned down by something much bigger than him with teeth as long as his fingers. He was a vampire hunter, he fought guys that could snap him in half all the time and it never interfered with his work. Yet Kurt’s hot breath on his skin, those cold slit-pupiled eyes that stared at him with undisguised hunger, the claws that teased his wrist and thighs, and those fucking teeth, everything that should’ve set off fucking alarm bells in his head, just made him desperate to know how it would feel to be fucked by a monster like that.

Internally, Kurt preened as Isaac began to work his fingers into himself. The one who could have become his killer was submitting himself for him. The beast in him wanted to take him immediately, not caring if he broke or perhaps wanting to break him, but he held himself back. They hadn’t discussed that ahead of time. If he was going to break him, he wanted Isaac to beg him to do it first. For now he was satisfied with watching Isaac get himself ready for him, taking the opportunity to get rid of his own too-tight clothes.

Isaac’s hair had begun to escape whatever product he used to style it and hung down over his face, though even through it, Kurt could see the blush darkening his skin. He bit his lip as he carefully worked his fingers into himself, his eyes occasionally meeting Kurt’s before darting away. He wished he could kiss him, but this body wasn’t built for that, instead he pressed his exposed fangs to the doctor’s neck and wrapped his hand around his cock. Isaac yelped as teeth touched his neck, but Kurt felt him grow harder in his hand.

“You want my fangs in you, don’t you?”

Isaac moaned in response but did not explicitly assent.

“I could rip you open, like I was ripped open, and drink from you until I’m yours. Your blood as my blood, your flesh as my flesh, until I can never pull you out of me.” He let go of Isaac’s wrist to push his hand away from his hole and lined himself up. “Do you want me to?”

Isaac watched in near mindless arousal as Kurt unhinged his jaw and took his throat between his teeth. His hot breath on his neck reminded the Vampire Hunter that his partner was something alive and breathing, but was still something that was made to devour him. Against his better judgment, he said yes.

Kurt shut his jaws at the same moment he pushed himself inside. He realized at that very moment that this was the first time he had drunk human blood from its source. He had drank human blood from bags and demon blood from the bodies of demons, but never human blood from a human. It was different warm, taken while the body pulsed with arousal and even more so, it was different taken from someone he had a connection with, a friend turned lover rather than a stranger. It tasted better than anything he’d ever drank.

Underneath him Isaac cried out, but did not attempt to push him away, instead he wrapped his arms around Kurt’s neck, holding him in place as he drank from him. Kurt released him as felt the vampire hunter’s cum splatter across his stomach. As Isaac threw his head back Kurt licked the wounds he’d left on his neck, wanting to waste as little of his blood as possible before he got to work. When fucking someone for pleasure rather than buisiness, Kurt considered it a miserable failure if he only got his partner to cum once. He had been a monster in bed well before it had become literal. Now that it was though, he’d found there was plenty to appreciate.

For one, he’d always had a good sized cock, big enough to turn heads, but not enough to intimidate the unadventurous. The thing he had between his legs as a beast was a fucking weapon. It didn’t have anything special going on in terms of its anatomy, no ridges or barbs or anything like he’d seen on some demons, it was just fucking huge. Isaac was doing an admirable job taking it considering the minimal preparation, but Kurt felt much better about actually starting to move now that he was nice and relaxed. Still he started slowly, trying to make sure Isaac could adjust.

The vampire hunter grabbed a fist full of hair and pulled him down until he was inches from his face. He was still breathless, his face glistening with sweat and his hair starting to break free from whatever products Isaac used to style it.

“I’m not made of paper.” His red-brown eyes held Kurt’s gravely for a moment and then a sly smile spread across his face. “Fuck me like you mean it.”

Kurt pulled the edges of his ragged mouth back into something that was close to a smile, before finally allowing himself to go at the pace he most enjoyed. He dug his claws into Isaac’s shoulders and began to fuck him fast and hard. Isaac hissed as the claws sunk into his skin only to scream as Kurt forced his entire length into him. He was so tight the former vampire could feel the beating of his heart on his cock. His own heartbeat pounded loud in his ears, deafening in its unfamiliarity. He was so beautiful like this, tears in his eyes, desperately clawing at Kurt’s arms, trying to ride out the sensation of being used like a toy. God it made him want to be mean.

Kurt released Isaac’s left shoulder and began to lightly run his claws over the vampire hunter’s body. He didn’t dig in, he just let him feel the threat of them gliding over his naked body. The vampire hunter sobbed as Kurt’s claws traced the veins that ran down the side of his cock, the sharpness, both too much and not enough at the same time. He seized, clenching down on the former vampire as he came again. Kurt felt himself begin to slip as well and pulled out before he came.

After he came back to himself, the endorphins beginning to fade, he gently guided Isaac off the counter, slipping back into human shape. Kurt kissed his mauled left shoulder.

“How about I get this patched up?”

“I’m a little more worried about my neck.” Isaac hesitantly touched the blood soaked skin ready to begin assessing the damage. Then a confused expression came over his face as he felt blindly along his throat. “Shit.”

“What’s the matter?”

“Do I have fangs?” Isaac pulled back the edge of his lips. His teeth were slightly crooked, making his canines look a little more prominent than they would on most people, but they were a normal length.

“No.”

“The punctures are gone.”

Kurt felt the side of his neck. The skin had healed over completely, there wasn’t even a scar. Distantly, behind the slight panic, he was a little disappointed. However, he also still felt Isaac’s pulse thrumming beneath his skin. The wounds on his shoulders still hadn’t healed. Wait no, the wound on his left shoulder had already closed, but just the left one.

“How’s your ass?”

“Really?! That’s what you’re concerned about?!”

“Humor me.”

“It’s fine! My ass is fine!”

It shouldn’t have been. He should’ve at least torn something.

Kurt spat on his hand and then clapped it onto Isaac’s right shoulder. The vampire hunter grimaced in pain and disgust.

“Hey!” He protested.

Kurt withdrew his hand. The wound on Isaac’s right shoulder had closed.

“It’s my spit.”

“I guess that makes as much sense as anything else.” Isaac sighed.

“Is it too much for you?” Kurt asked hesitantly.

“No.” He took Kurt’s hand. “I’m not leaving you, alright?” The former vampire pressed his forehead against Isaac’s and nodded. “Just don’t cum inside me until we know it won’t do anything to me.”

“Of course.”

Isaac decided to stay the night. His back was already sore from being fucked within an inch of his life on a kitchen counter, so he didn’t want to make it worse by driving.

His phone buzzed as he finished cleaning himself up in Kurt’s bathroom. A text from that same unknown number that had contacted him earlier in the night.

“so did you talk to him about it?”

He let out a frustrated breath from his nose, labeled the contact “bastard” and replied.

“Talk to him about what?”

“how you’re cool with him being who he is”

“What?”

“well when we were in the car I acted like I knew that part of him better than you did, even though I only saw him like that for the first time tonight you know, to manipulate you into feeling jealous enough that you’d talk to him about it”

Isaac stared at his phone for a second before replying.

“Fuck off.”

“Okay yeah that’s fair.”
